Kasetsart University succeed in the development of cannabis:

          The Faculty of Agriculture, Kasetsart University has developed a new cash crop, cannabis, in a plant factory with artificial light.

          Kasetsart University obtained a license from the FDA for importing and planting the CBD Charlotte’s Angel variety to grow in a closed system. A research on an essential substance extraction of Marijuana to increase the potential of medical usage. The research was produced by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tanee Sreewongchai with the research team from the Faculty of Agriculture.

          The essential substance has been resulted from Marijuana extraction, by the method of cool ethanol, to obtain medical quality CBD oil that has no metals contamination, pesticides, and Mycotoxins which can be found in inflorescences for the use of medical benefits and other purposes.
