          Kasetsart University has been ranked 5th in Thailand out of 42 Thai higher education institutions in the latest results announced by SCImago Institutions Rankings (SIR) 2026, reflecting the University’s strong performance at both regional and global levels.

          This achievement is the result of a proactive strategy focused on excellence across three key dimensions:

          - Research Rank  6th in Thailand 315th in Asia 3,602nd in the World Affirming the quality of research outputs, international recognition, and global citation impact.

          - Innovation Rank  11th in Thailand 1,078th in Asia 5,220th in the World Highlighting the translation of research into innovation, industry collaboration, and value creation for the economy.

          - Societal Rank  5th in Thailand 185th in Asia 1,969th in the World Demonstrating the University’s commitment to generating positive societal impact and advancing sustainable development.

          This accomplishment underscores KU’s systematic development toward “world-class research excellence” alongside “sustainable societal impact.”
