The 2nd Animal Genomics and Bioresource for ESG & SDG Seminar

          On 12^th - 14^th March 2024, at the Science Conference Room, 6^th floor of The Princess Chulabhorn 60th Birthday Anniversary Science Research Center Building, Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University, the Animal Genomics and Bioresources: AGB Research Unit, Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University, in collaboration with national and international research specialists on biodiversity, organized the "2nd Animal Genomics and Bioresource for ESG & SDG Seminar"; Theme "Bridging Realms: AGB’s Global Journey in Wildlife, Avian, and Fish Genomics." This seminar aims to enhance research networking for lecturers, researchers, scientists, and students from leading universities.

          Within this seminar, several biodiversity research specialists and lecturers from national and international educational institutions and agencies, such as Kasetsart University, Chulalongkorn University, Mahidol University, Suranaree University of Technology, National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Vishuo Biomedical (Thailand) Ltd., University of Porto, Portugal, Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia, Can Tho University, Vietnam, etc., will provide lectures on different interesting topics such as biotechnology for the conservation of wildlife species, aquaculture health management, shrimp and catfish, etc.

          On 12^th March 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Apisit Songsasen, Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kornsorn Srikulnath, Deputy Dean for Special Affairs, Animal Genomics and Bioresource Research Unit, delivered a welcoming speech at the opening ceremony. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Apisit Songsasen highlighted the successful outcome of the 1st Animal Genomics and Bioresource for ESG & SDG Seminar held on 13th –15th March 2024, expressing hopes for similar success in the 2nd seminar. Following the speeches, all participants engaged in a group photo session, leading into the commencement of the seminar's first lecture. After each lecture, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and exchange valuable knowledge.
