The Kasetsart University Institute for Advanced Studies (KUIAS) has four Centers, each responsible for targeted research initiatives. Each Center includes its own research center and/or specialized research division. KUIAS assists with the collaborative research projects pursued by KU faculties and coordinates the use of resources such as facilities, sites, equipment, tools, and human resources in ways that provide maximum efficiency to the research. KUIAS sponsors Graduate Research Assistantships, Post-Doctoral Research Fellowships, and Research Associates, who are key in driving the success of a research at a national research university (KU), in the same way as the leading research universities of the world. KUIAS seeks to obtain compensation for those who produce the creative works that ultimately benefit the nation and society in general. Cost-efficient resources are used. It maintains an effective intellectual property management system to protect the rights of creators and inventors.
