Faculty of Natural Resource and Agro- Industry

Introduction  

           The Faculty of Natural Resources and Agro-Industry is a smart academic community with a research environment combined with teaching excellence.  The faculty offers a comprehensive education in the traditional, mainstream disciplines of Agriculture and Food Technology to support Thai Food to World program of The Royal Thai Government and the development of food and agricultural products business in ASEAN region.

           The Faculty comprises two Divisions which are Division of Agro-Bioresources and Division of Food Technology.  The Division of Agro-Bioresources has a major role in delivering B.Sc. Agro-Resources, B.Sc.  Agro-Resources and Production Management and B.Sc.  Animal Sciences and M.Sc.  Agricultural Resources.  The Division of Food Technology has two B.Sc. programs,  B.Sc.  Food Technology and B.Sc.  Food Safety and Nutrition, and one postgraduate degree, M.Sc. Food Technology.

          The Faculty has a very broad range of research interests from efforts to improve tropical agricultural system and sustainability and food technology including food production., security and nutrition.  We also have academic collaboration with aboard institutes, namely University of Tokyo (Japan), University of Technology Malaysia (Malaysia), Savannakhet University (Laos) and School of Biosciences,  The University of Nottingham (UK).
