THE LIGHT OF PEACE is published every two months by the Internationals Relations Department of the Dhammakaya Foundation with the following objectives:
- Anubhavado: never to speak negatively of others
- To promote the understanding of Dhammakaya
- To give information about the activities and projects of the Dhammakaya Foundation
- To encourage all good friends [kalayanamit] to maintain and develop their virtue
- To maintain contact and give support to provincial and international branches of the Dhammakaya International Society
- To promote Buddhism and encourage solidarity between Buddhists of the world
- To create friendship with other organizations especially those concerned with spiritual development
- To facilitate dialogue of all types
- To explore the relationship between Bhuddist and local culture, especially in Thailand
- To review new books concerning Dhammakaya
- To promote world peace through meditation
- To emphasize the importance of nature, environmental integrety and simplicity of lifestyle to the successful practice of meditation
