KU Signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Academic Cooperation with Xi’an Jiaotong University, People’s Republic of China

          On 29 October 2024, at Xi'an Jiaotong University's Xingqing Campus in the People’s Republic of China, Kasetsart University administrators participated in an MOU signing ceremony for academic cooperation between the two institutions. Representing Kasetsart University were Asst. Prof. Dr. Nuchanata Mungkung, Vice President for Finance and Asset Management; Professor Dr. Jaroensak Rojanaritphichet, Appointed Member of KU Council Members, Senior Advisor; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thongrob Ruenbanthoeng, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities. The Kasetsart delegation was warmly welcomed by Professor SHAN Zhiwei, Vice President of Xi'an Jiaotong University, who also co-signed the MOU. Following the signing ceremony, both parties discussed potential joint activities, including student and staff exchanges, curriculum development, collaborative research in relevant fields, and cultural promotion through musical performances by the KU Wind Symphony. Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) is a public university under the administration of China’s Ministry of Education, recognized as a comprehensive research-oriented institution. It is ranked among the top ten research universities in China and is positioned 295^th in the QS World University Rankings for 2025.
