Administrators of National Taiwan Ocean University,

          On 27th May 2024, IAD Meeting Room, 10th floor of the Kasetsart Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center Building, Kasetsart University Bangkhen Campus, KU administrators, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chamaipak Maiklad, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wanwimol Klaypradit, Deputy Dean for International Affairs, Faculty of Fisheries; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yaowapha Waiprib, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, Faculty of Fisheries; and Acting Second Lieutenant Phunsin Kantha, Acting Head of the Research and Academic Service Center for the Andaman Region, Faculty of Fisheries welcomed a delegation from National Taiwan Ocean University, Taiwan, led by Professor Yu-Wei Chang, Dean of International Affairs; Associate Professor Hong-Yi Gong, Department of Aquaculture; Associate Professor Po-Tsang Lee, Director of International Students Affairs; and Mr. Kevin Lee, Senior Administrative Staff on the occasion of visiting and studying Kasetsart University’s operations and to explore potential new collaborations.

          On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chamaipak Maiklad extended a warm welcome and provided an overview of KU, covering various aspects such as the campus information, student and faculty member numbers, the inaugural application of students for the Faculty of Medicine, the ongoing construction of the Kasetsart University Hospital, and the university’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2035.

     In turn, Professor Yu-Wei Chang shared insights about the National Taiwan Ocean University, emphasizing ocean and maritime studies. He highlighted the university's 7 faculties: College of Maritime Science and Management, College of Life Sciences, College of Ocean Science and Resource, College of Engineering, College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, and College of Ocean Law and Policy. The delegation also expressed interest in visiting various faculties at KU such as the Faculty of Fisheries, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and the Faculty of Engineering, to facilitate knowledge exchange between the two institutions
